[26] Victor Wolf was a quiet, round, bald, man, short of stature and always
wore a mustache. He was born in LaSalle County, IL and lived most of his
life at the Old Prospect Place,
Section 8,. in Hope Township. After their marriage in Mt Palatine Catholic church,
Victor and Louisa (Ziegler) Wolf lived on Old Prospect Place
which they purchased in 1918 after the death of
Eva Wolf (Victor's mother). In 1921 they purchased a home in Lostant, IL.
Victor lived there until his death in 1929. Louisa spent her later years
in the Rutland Nursing Home, Rutland, Illinois, until her death on September
22, 1954. Both are buried in St Mary's Cemetery, Hope township, LaSalle
County, Illinois

[292] Louisa (Ziegler) Wolf, wife of Victor Wolf and Catherine (Ziegler) Wolf, wife
of Peter Wolf, were sisters.

[316] Michael Barney Wolf was born at Old Prospect Place. As a young man he
played violin and gave lessons. With his twin brother, Anton, he played in
a dance orchestra. Michael was a member of the Mt Palatine Gun Club and won
a gold trophy for shooting over 100 birds. He shot 101. The gun and
trophy are still in the family as is the violin. Michael was a farmer and
Marie was a housewife and seamstress. They first lived on a farm in
Granville Township, Putnam County. In 1918 they moved to Magnolia Township
one mile east of McNabb on the Victor Wolf 120 acre farm. They purchased
the farm and later sold it and moved to Mcnabb where Michael worked for the
school and drove a bus. They both lived in McNabb until their deaths. Both
are buried in St Mary's Cemetery near Mt Palatine.

[317] Anton and & Michael Wolf were twins. Both were violinists and often played
played for dances at McNabb, IL and elsewhere
