Joseph Fritsche and Karoline Heider came over from Germany separately. Joseph
came from a farm family. Karoline was a seamstress and her father a tailor.
Both Joseph and Karoline came from a part of Germany that is now Poland
The sons of Joseph Fritsche spelled their name differntly in adult life.
