August Fritsche, married a girl from the Mader farm in Hain (that was
probably also her last name. They bought a farm in Neuendorf. It is not
known how many children they had. They still owned the farm when expelled
after WW II.

During the awful inflation period in Germany in 1923, one of the descendents
of Joseph and Karoline (Heider) Fritsche sent a gold one-dollar coin
to Joseph Fritsche. With that single dollar gold coin he bought himself a
pair of long-legged leather boots!
