Steven Robert Eischen attended St Benedict's Parochial School, Bishop
Garrigan High School, Algona, IA, and graduated from St Benedict's College,
Atchison, KS in 1970 with a B S degree in Business. Following his marraige
to Janet McQuire, he started work at thge U S Labor Department in Kansas City,
MO. In June 1994, he was called to Washington DC where he was presented
with the "Hammer Award" by Vice President Al Gore for his work as National
Chairman of an 8-member committee whose investigation recommended a
reduction of 83% in the reports of the Pension and Welfare Benefits
Administration.
Steven has served 6 years in the National Guard. Liesure time activities
include raquetball, softball, bowling, golf and spectator sports. He is an
avid reader.

Janet McGuire Eischen attended St Cecelia's School, Algona, IA, Bishop
Garrigan High School, Algona and graduated from Mount St Scholastica College,
Atchison, KS in 1970 with a B A in Education. She worked for the Social
Security Administration in Kansas City, MO., then became a full time mother
until her youngest child was in school.
She worked as a substitute teacher, a clerk in a Kansas City department
store, and as activity director of the Kansas City Medical College.
She earned a M S from the University of Missouri and, at present, has a
position as director of Kansas City, Ks, Central Avenue Betterment
Association(CABA) Reading, decorating and music are her special interests
