[346] Bob Eischen has lived in the same community all his life. He moved 80 rods
south of his birthplace when he married and his wife, Stella, moved a mile
north of her home place ! They have lived on that same farm for 47 years.
Bob's parents built a new house on the place in 1952. Bob enjoys farming,

Stella Eischen deserves credit for supplying most of the information
concerning the family of Frank and Barbara Wolf and their descendents.

[342] Stella Mayer Eischen attended St Benedict Parochial School, worked at home
and then married and raised a family. She earned her GED (high school
equivalency Diploma) in 1969 and in 1979 received an AA degree from Iowa
Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, IA in 1989. She has been the organizt
at St Benedict's Church for over 50 years, was Regent of the St Benedict
Catholic Daughters of America and held most of the offices in that
organization. She has been St Benedict community correspondent for the Algona
IA, newspaper since 1977. She sews wedding attire and does altering and
mending for people in the area. She is a member of the Kossuth County
Democratic Central Committee.

[376] Steven Robert Eischen attended St Benedict's Parochial School, Bishop
Garrigan High School, Algona, IA, and graduated from St Benedict's College,
Atchison, KS in 1970 with a B S degree in Business. Following his marraige
to Janet McQuire, he started work at thge U S Labor Department in Kansas City,
MO. In June 1994, he was called to Washington DC where he was presented
with the "Hammer Award" by Vice President Al Gore for his work as National
Chairman of an 8-member committee whose investigation recommended a
reduction of 83% in the reports of the Pension and Welfare Benefits
Administration.
Steven has served 6 years in the National Guard. Liesure time activities
include raquetball, softball, bowling, golf and spectator sports. He is an
avid reader.

[377] Mary Ann Eischen attended St Benedict Parochial School, Bishop Garrigan
High School, Algona, IA, and graduated from College of St Mary, Omaha, NE, in
1972, with a B S in biology and education. She earned an M S in
environmental biology from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, while she
worked as a fresh water biologist resercher at Batelle Institute, Columbus,
Ohio.
She chose to be a full time mother when her children were born. She
assists her husband in managing the laundromat 1-day cleaning business they
own, does hands on-work in the apple orchard they maintain, is volunteer at
the school her children attend, and teaches CCD Classes. She does
needlework, knitting and sewing and enjoys reading and music.

[378] Richard Eischen graduated from St Benedict Parochial School and from Bishop
Garrigan High School in 1970. He received an athletic scholarship from Peru
State College in Nebraska, which he attended. He played football, baseball and
basketball at Peru.
He did cement work, truck driving and carpentry before becoming a County
Road Maintenance worker. He loves farming and spends many hours in the
fields after his regular job. Leisure time activities include softball,
volleyball, bowling and golf and he serves as a coach and umpire for athletic
activities.

[379] Joan Eischen Mancuso attended St Benedict Parochial Schoool and Bishop
Garrigan High School, Algona, IA, and was a 1973 graduate of the American
Institute of Business, DesMoines, Ia., where she took a secretarial course.
She worked in DesMoines for time. In 1975 she went to Den,ver, CO., where
she was employed by the Internal Revenue Service. Later she worked for the
Federal Aviation Administration and forx oil companies that were eventually
bought by Mobil Oil.
In 1970, her husband accepted employment by Aramco of Saudio Arabia, and they
moved to Dbahran in that country. Joan and her son were evacuated in August
1990 when the Gulf War started. She returned to Dbrahan in April 1991 where
she remained until December 1994. They are now located in New Orleans, LA
(Jan 1995) Music and softball are two of Joan's other interests.

[380] Daniel Eischen attended St Benedict's Parochial School and Bishop Gerrigan
High School, Algona, IA, and graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in
Emmetsburg, IA, in 1979 having completed an auto mechanic course.
He worked at the Elbert Chevrolet Garage, Whittemore, IA, and at the Arnold
Motor Company, Algona. IA, before transferring to Arnold Motor Company in Ft
Dodge, IA, in 1990. Dan's leisure activities and work are closely related
as free time finds him repairing anything mechanical.
